ABOUT THIS SURVEY
Why are we carrying out this survey?
-
People who have been bereaved (lost loved ones) during the Covid-19 crisis often feel heartbroken.
-
Covid-19 deaths can happen very quickly and this can make dealing with your feelings even harder.
-
Even if someone dies and it is not because of Covid-19, many people have not been able to be with their loved one when they died or at their funeral because of social distancing.
-
People from some cultural backgrounds are particularly affected by Covid-19 and can find it hard to get the help they need.
-
It's much more difficult for people or support groups to provide support because of social distancing.
What will this survey help us to do?
-
It will help us to understand the experiences of people who have lost loved ones during the Covid-19 pandemic and provide better support for them.
-
It will help us to know what support people are accessing and whether that support is helpful or not helpful.
-
It will help us to quickly improve the support that is available locally and across the UK.
What do you need to do?
-
You do not need to do anything.
-
The first round of the online survey has been completed.
-
A follow-up questionnaire will be administered soon.
